The South Australian Government funds and provides a First Home Buyer Grant of $7000 to all first-home-buyers. Combined with the Federal Government’s $14,000 First Home Owner Boost, first home buyers of new homes will receive maximum benefits of up to $21,000.
Note: The Federal Government "Boost" grant applies to contracts entered into between 14 October 2008 and 30 June 2009 (inclusive).
Other Savings
The South Australian Government also provides an additonal First Hone owners Bonus, which roughly provides a bonus of $4000 on homes up to $400,000. After thism the bonus reduces and cuts out at $449,900 (see calculator).
