The Logan, by Metricon, won the MBA award for "Best Sustainable Energy Home for 2009". It is a three-bedroom home accredited with a 7 star rating.
Its sustainable features include Comfortplus glass to sliding doors and timber bi-fold windows, and doubleglazing to remaining windows.

Recycled aggregate concrete and blended cement product is used in the slab, which not only contributes to its strength but to a lower embodied energy.

Under the slab is a water tank and pump, and the roofing is insulated steel.

Energy efficient lighting is another sustainable feature inside the home.
